AMANDA MCALINDEN – OSTEOPATH AND NATUROPATH

Amanda grew up with a strong interest in a mixture of sports and dance styles to keep healthy. With this keen interest in competitive sports came some strain and sports related injuries. This led her to make a decision to train as an Osteopath as she used to see an osteopath when she was young. She felt that with the training she would to be able to understand how the body works and how to manage and/or prevent injuries. It therefore became her aim to be able to share this experience with patients who may need to keep fit and active whilst staying pain free.

Amanda is a graduate from British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM). She studied there for 4 years to achieve her Masters in Osteopathy, Diploma in Osteopathy and Diploma in Naturopathy. Amanda worked as an associate at an osteopathic clinic in Cardiff after graduating in 2012 which gave her some experience and the confidence to the start up her own clinic with her partner. Amanda also currently works as an Osteopath at the NIHP in Durham.
